Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher at St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for plays as a child as well as watching her mother at work. Early on, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually moving into Los Angeles, California, in the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at a Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna converted to Judaism in January 2011 and the couple renewed their vows at a Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo's romance with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was showcased in the list of CNN's Top Television Couples of All Time and voted E!'s top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
