Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu was born in America. Liu is an American singer, actress and voice-over artist. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Her early success was boosted when she appeared in several popular television shows. She played the villainous Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. Following that, she gave an an excellent acting performance on Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime lord O Ren Ishii. Around this same time she appeared in box office failures, including Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing famous characters in animated films, such as Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce the desired results. Southland's highly praised police show, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish as an established actress. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order so that she doesn't get stereotyped within an industry that is highly competitive. Although she's embraced her heritage, she hasn't allowed it to hinder her creativity.
